Ottawa, ON – Swimming is one of the essential life skills a person can learn. It helps people of all ages overcome fear, discover their true capabilities, and stay safe. It is also an excellent form of exercise, providing a full-body workout and helping improve overall health and fitness. There are many benefits to learning this important life skill, and everyone should make an effort to do so.
One of the best places to learn how to swim is at The Aqua Life Swim Academy. Founded by a former lifeguard, competitive swimmer, and teacher, Stephanie Rainey, the Academy’s goal is to make swimming fun and life-changing. Stephanie’s love for swimming began at a young age, and she soon recognized the importance of teaching kids to swim as early as possible. In order to make this happen, she knew she had to make learning to swim an absolute blast. After all, if kids are having fun, they’ll want to keep coming back – and they’ll learn more quickly, too. At The Aqua Life Swim Academy, kids learn faster and can’t wait for their next swim lesson; therefore, parents love taking their children there.
The Aqua Life Swim Academy offers a wide range of lessons for kids of all ages, from infants, toddlers, and children to pre-teens and teens. To cater to the needs of each kid, the lessons are divided into 5 different packages that include Parent & Tot (4 months – 3 years), Swim 101 (3+ years), Swim Strokes 201 (4+ years), Advanced Swim Strokes 301 (4+ years), and Competitive Swim 101 (5+ years). The academy’s packages are designed to be small and intimate, so each child gets the attention they need to succeed.
Adults are not left out either! The Aqua Life Swim Academy offers adult weekly lessons that cater to those who want to learn how to swim for the first time, brush up on their skills, or train for a triathlon. Learners get to enjoy the academy’s warm water pool in a fun and relaxing environment. One-on-one and semi-private lessons ensure that each learner gets the attention they need.
Moreover, backyard swim lessons, winter intensive swim lessons, and summer intensive swim lessons are also available to meet each learner’s needs regardless of age. Classes are 30 minutes, once per week. Prices are charged per student and vary depending on the type of lesson. Semi-private lessons are $129+HST/month, while private lessons are $219+HST/month.
The Aqua Life Swim Academy is more than just a place to learn how to swim. It is a place where people of all ages can go to have fun, learn new things, and discover their true capabilities. Swimming is a lifelong skill that everyone should know, and there is no better place to do so than at The Aqua Life Swim Academy.
